Well done to those of you who opted for Nketiah in last weeks' poll with the youngster winning by a landslide, courtesy of a superb hattrick at Premier League whipping boys, Sheffield United. Coupled with a return from John McGinn, the attacking output was in stark contrast to a big letdown from the defensive selections in Lascelles and Gusto. Let's see if we can address the balance as we dive back into the bargain bucket for this weeks' low-owned waiver picks. Don't forget to cast your vote on who you think will top the chart this week!

Marc Guehi (CRY) DEF Ownership: 44.1%      Next Fixture: BUR (A)
Continuing with the strategy of targeting teams languishing somewhat at the foot of the table, I'm tipping Marc Guehi to break the recent curse on defender picks and bag a clean sheet away to Burnley. Whilst Palace haven't been at their best in recent fixtures under Hodgson, they did pose enough questions last time out vs Spurs to give me some confidence going into this gameweek with a Palace defender in the picks.

Craig Dawson (WOL) Ownership: 11.1%     Next Fixture: SHU (A)
A previous pick and a player never too far from my own team, I'm targeting Craig Dawson to be the pick of the Wolves back line that will be up against one of, if not, the poorest teams in the league at present in Sheffield United. I'm a big fan of the attacking threat of Dawson and by my reckoning, he's overdue a return in front of goal. If Wolves can keep the likes of Hamer and McAtee quiet in the Blades' midfield, I can see returns at both ends of the pitch for Dawson this week.

Jack Harrison (EVE) MID Ownership: 14.4%      Next Fixture: BHA (H)
A player who very much blew hot or cold during his time in the Premier League at Leeds United, I've enjoyed seeing Jack Harrison return as a potential option for draft teams. It surprised me somewhat to see just how high up the attacking threat tables Everton have been this season and are currently ranked in the top half for expected goals. Whilst Doucoure and McNeil also carry threat in support of the better-owned Calvert-Lewin, Harrison has proven he is anything but shot-shy and with a goal and two assists in three appearances, I can see the Manchester City graduate returning again at home to a Brighton side struggling for clean sheets.

Jordan Ayew (CRY) MID Ownership: 23.7%      Next Fixture: BUR (A)
Returning to the Eagles, but this time in attack, I am opting for Jordan Ayew as my punt to get among the goals this week. Having neatly volleyed in a consolation goal in last weeks' defeat to Spurs, Ayew represents good value at just x% owned. Whilst Eze and Olise are poised to return for Roy Hodgsons' side, the latter in particular isn't expected back for another couple of fixtures so Ayew should be secure of his starting berth against a Burnley side that is yet to keep the ball out of their own net.

Sasa Kalajdzic (WOL) FWD Ownership: 8.7%      Next Fixture: SHU (A)
It took me a few attempts to spell this one correctly, so hopefully I've got it correct now, but the 6ft 7" Austrian could find his way into the starting lineup this week and will find himself up against a defence that his shipped plenty of goals so far this season. A decent record as a finisher, Wolves have been cruelly robbed of Kalajdzic's services in front of goal due to a long-term injury suffered early into his debut season at the club. With the short supply of strikers, I'm punting on the big man for my third choice striker slot this week. Fingers crossed he can deliver the goods!

That will do it for this week. Best of luck on the waiver wire!
