Low-Owned Picks for Gameweek 13

Draft fantasy football picks for gameweek 13

We’ve opened a Discord community for Draft Fantasy. The best place to talk fantasy football with others!

Chalking off another pesky international break, we return to the green screens, hopes and dreams of a proper fantasy football feast, kicking off with no less then treble winners Manchester City taking on a lethal-looking Liverpool side in the Saturday lunchtime fixture. Having bagged more returns for midfielders with last week's picks, we've got a few more low-owned gems to consider as you make the final tinkers with your lineups for this week. Don't forget to vote below for who you think will top the list!

Have your say! Who will be top scorer this week...?

Takehiro Tomiyasu (ARS) DEF Ownership: 15.2% Next Fixture: BRE (A)
The first of several high-risk manoeuvres this week, I'm taking a punt on Tomiyasu earning a spot in the Arsenal side this weekend. With question-marks over Ben Whites availability and Zinchenko not 100% assured of the spot at the left, I can see Tomiyasu sneaking into the Gunners back-line once again and with three good fixtures upcoming, he could be a steal. Of course, travelling back from Internationals always flags a concern, but a strong outing for Japan over the international break could serve to bolster the appeal for Arteta to opt for a player in good form.

Emerson Palmieri (WHU) DEF Ownership: 19.6% Next Fixture: BUR (A)
This is the second appearance for West Ham's left back in the weekly tips having been unlucky not to score back in gameweek 4 when I first selected him. Not shy in getting forwards, the Italian international has registered 18 touches in the opposition box and 6 shots this season. With clean sheets proving to be a complete lottery, I'm opting for more attacking defenders with assured minutes, and Emerson ticks both boxes. Add in a home fixture against Burnley and it's a triple-threat.

Justin Kluivert (BOU) MID Ownership: 1.0% Next Fixture: SHU (A)
I've seen Kluivert make a few appearances this season between cup matches and off the bench cameos and he's passed the eye-test every time. Whilst Cherries team sheets aren't the easiest to pick, Kluivert earned a starting spot in a great 2-0 victory last time out to an albeit under-strength Newcastle side. Whilst his stats in the Premier League haven't reached the heights of more premium picks, I'm backing the young man to go a step further this week, away to league whipping boys Sheffied United.

Ansu Fati (BHA) MID Ownership: 30% Next Fixture: NFO (A)
Another youngster to have impressed despite limited minutes in a side rife with rotation, the former Barcelona attacker should see a good run around on the turf this week with Brighton down to bare bones and in need of a turnaround in form. Whilst home to Forest is by no means a guarantee for goals, Cooper's side have failed to keep a clean sheet in all but one of their home fixtures this year.

Chris Wood (NFO) FWD Ownership: 21.8% Next Fixture: BHA (H)
Having been on the receiving end of Chris Woods brace earlier in the season, only a fool would pass up the opportunity to back the Kiwi this time around. Once bitten, twice shy and all that. With news of Taiwo Awoniyi's injury, Wood looks set to deputise up front for a Forest side that have a favourable run of upcoming fixtures. 11th for chances created over the last 3 gameweeks, Wood will have to be at his clinical best to capitalise, but a leaky Brighton defence should mean there are no shortages of sights on goal.

That will do it for this week from Draft Fantasy! Best of luck on the waiver wire!
